It’s been such a long time since I blogged.  I don’t want to give it up but time…. where is the time?

We are in London this week for both Business and Pleasure.   Be back soon. 

Today we saw Buckingham Palace.

I can’t believe it is almost a month since my last update. What the heck? Where does the time go? Easter has come and gone. We had a great day. Lots of family, fun and food.   The kids had a mini egg hunt.  You are never to old to find eggs. 

We went to Cape Cod last weekend.  The kids went to Washington, DC and we headed in the opposite direction to the Cape.  We had a blast. 
We stood on Race Point and saw Whales frocking in the ocean.  We walked the beach (in short sleeves) and collected shells, attended a wine tasting at a vineyard and ate tons of GREAT food.  I bought a new hat.   My only hat ever.

I won it at a dessert auction at Church.  We had a great time and really over paid for this cake.  Don’t get me wrong it is delicious cake but at $9 a slice.  I invited my girlfriend and her daughter to the pasta dinner and dessert auction.  We got caught up in the fun of the bidding.  Amazed at the prices the desserts sold for.  I filled up  my sd card card trying to get a good picture.

Spring is usually a wet time of year.  I would welcome a warm rain now.  Lately around us the weather has been cool but not freezing.  We’ve had a few days of rain but nothing major.  No flooding or downpours.  Everything outside is soggy from the ground thawing out.  I can’t wait until summer.  Dry hot summer.  Just cooling off and getting wet by the pool or the lake.

We decided when we started seeing each other that we would go away every 12 weeks.  Just us for mini weekend vacations.  We’ve gone to Maine and Pennsylvania.  Our weekend is coming up in April and today we decided to visit Cape Cod.  It’ll be off season but that would be perfect for us.  I don’t think I would enjoy the summer crowds of Cape Cod.  I’m sure it would be much warmer if we stayed in a San Diego CA hotel but right now that isn’t an option. The kids are on spring break that week and heading to Washington DC with my mom for a few days.

I had to remove the rpc blog rolling links.  They kept holding up my page loading.  Sorry if you are looking for your link for me to be a "member" of your group.  I’ll try to redo them in a different way and see if it will help.  Not today but soon.

Another change I made.  If you refresh you might see a new header.  I put in some code for a random header to appear each time.  Sometimes since it is random it gives you the same one.  I uploaded 9 different headers I created from pictures I took.  I really went for the yellow flowers because I want to scream spring.  so….SPRING! !   I’m quit impressed with my work in the random header.  I didn’t write it but I did have to put it in, change it around, upload pictures with my ftp client etc.  I’m glad it worked because I didn’t make a backup to a memory stick or my harddrive.

Now time for bed…

Last weekend I went to the post office FINALLY and applied for my passport for our trip to Portugal.  Nothing like waiting.  LOL.   Months ago we booked our hotels for the trip.  A couple of weeks ago we booked our airline tickets.  Today we sat down and did our budget.  I’m so excited to go.  I can’t wait until we are on that plane.  Taking off.  We haven’t talked about international travel insurance yet. We probably will though. We also need to book the car and read up on international driving.
